Treasure baskets offer babies child led play and independent learning in their exploratory of objects. These are objects to add to your babies treasure baskets to that support all baby’s curiosity of the world.
Each item is handpicked and this ‘Everyday Essentials’ is designed in supporting each babies understanding of the world. They will be dispatched you in beautiful packaging with a detailed card explaining how to use this to support your babies learning.
We aim to support babies understanding of choice. Giving babies the choice: what they play with, when they play with an item and whether they choose to pick an item up. All stimulating the brain and supporting babies concentration, fine motor skills and development.
Treasure basket play should be supervised at ALL times. Please ensure you stay with your child to ensure your child is safe and unable to swallow or poke themselves with items. The role of the adult is to observe your baby’s independent learning, allowing them to make their own choices without intervening, unless invited into play through speech or eye-contact.
These are a lovely activity for some quiet time. It enables adults to support children through describing senses and demonstrating how objects can be used daily.
